Project: ‘Preschool for Returnees’ in Sri Lanka

As a multicultural company with employees from more than ten countries, ARTECH Consulting is constantly confronted with the personal stories of its employees’ countries of origin. Whether natural disasters such as tsunamis and earthquakes or civil wars – the list of tragic events is long. That is why it is a matter of course for ARTECH Consulting to engage in social causes and help people in need – regardless of their origin, religion or culture. It does not matter where or in what form the support is needed. Whether through donations directly on the ground in crisis regions or support for refugees seeking help in the UK – we employees, with our diverse migration backgrounds and life stories, are extremely grateful for a peaceful life in the UK and want to give something back and set an example in the form of a wide variety of social projects!

This also includes support for the German Charity Association (GCA). The GCA wants to implement a project in Sri Lanka called ‘Preschool for Returnees’ to provide education for the children of returnees who fled the civil war at that time. The plan is to build a small school with two rooms, including toilets and water and electricity supplies, to provide 40-50 children with a place to learn, complete with furniture and school equipment.
